Sector: Orthopaedics products.
Context: The Agui Group has more than 50 years of experience, originally dedicated to the manufacture of components for lifts, has changed its business model from manufacturing for other companies to launching its own brands on the market, thus diversifying its business in 5 different sectors.
Driven by its ambition and guided by its knowledge and track record in different industries, the Agui group has recently acquired a new brand, taking advantage of its infrastructure to revolutionise the wheelchair market and break into the orthopaedics sector in a decisive and disruptive way.
Challenge: In close collaboration with the Agui Group team, Nare has identified the different business opportunities in the wheelchair sector, based on the needs detected by orthopaedists, family members, assistants and users.
We set out to create a new concept of wheelchair, one far removed from the stigmas of today’s society, to design the first product of the new brand, intervening in all phases of the design process, leading the requirements definition and conceptualisation phases and supporting the internal team in the industrialisation and activation phase of the new product.
